  • Brew up a Cup of Bulletproof Coffee

Over the last 30 years, I’ve either been travelling to, or living in, the great state of Minnesota. During that time, I’ve learned that it has a huge Scandanvian influence. In fact, my mother-in-law, Miggie, was 100% Swedish. One of the things she was notorious for was creating something out of nothing. She explained that growing up on a farm during The Depression had that effect on people.
  • Friendship Holds the World Together

Could you imagine a world without friends? Imagine the negativity. People only fighting for themselves. No one to turn to. No one to help you. What a terrible world that would be. Be grateful for your friends. Be thankful to have someone who cares for you, listens to you, and loves you!
  • Finally Having That Feeling of Home

In March of 2011 my brother-in-law, Paul, was diagnosed with ALS. He was one of four boys in my husband Pete’s family. Everyone who knew him— family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers—were devastated by the shocking news. He was the most gregarious, generous, loving (and more) man to be around. He was one of those guys who “lit up the room” just by walking in.
  • Explore Florida's Beautiful Anna Maria Island

Now, this location is not as well known as Key West, Marco Island, or Palm Beach, but Anna Maria Island has some incredible places to stay and things to do. South of Clearwater and St. Pete Beach, it’s the ideal place to watch a beautiful sunset every night from your hotel room, the beach, or even on an evening cruise alongside dolphins and manatees.
  • Friendship is Like Medicine

Friendship is the best therapy. How many times have you felt down and the first thing you do is text or call your best friends? How many times have you been so excited about something that you can't wait to tell your best friend? They say laughter is the best medicine, but friendship works wonders for the heart!

  • Juice Up Your Day...And Your Evening!

It wasn’t until I became pregnant with Lex that I forced myself to eat fruits and vegetables. But as you read on Monday, that has all changed. Because of my love for juicing, they have become a staple in my morning routine.
  • Friends Will Always Push You Forward

Friends should always want you to do the best that you can do. A true friend would never hold you back from your hopes and dreams. Instead, a true friend will help you, guide you, and push you!
  • Juicing to Stay on Top of Your Health

Since contracting Lyme disease 21 years ago, I have been desperately trying to find ways to be as healthy as I can be. I’ve learned that I can buy a lot of things in this life, but health is not one of them. The good news is that I can buy some things that can help me get healthier, and a juicer is one of those things.
  • Prepare Some Colorado Peaches Two Ways

The Grand Valley’s hot days and cool nights are perfect for growing some of the best peaches in the world. Harvested in the fall, the temperatures bring out the natural sugars, making them sweet and loaded with chin-dripping juice
  • Friendship is a Responsibility

Being friends is not an opportunity. We don't find ourselves in friendships because we were given the luxury of simply having a friend. Friendship is a responsibility. To have a friend we must BE a friend. You cannot expect friends to be a part of your life simply just to be there. Friends want love back. Friends want us there. As a friend, you have a responsibility!
  • Pour Up This Colorado Bulldog Cocktail

Ever had a Colorado Bulldog? It’s like a White Russian, but the Bulldog is finished off with equal amounts of cream and cola, instead of just cream. The cola adds a nice flavor, and makes a creamy drink a little less creamy. Give it a try!
