Guide to the Best City Parks In the World

There is something magical about the juxtaposition of incredible lush green spaces right in the middle of a concrete jungle. After a day of exploring a new city with your best friends, what could be better than spending some time relaxing in one of the most beautiful city parks in the world. In researching these parks, we were excited to find this amazing article in Conde Nast Traveler, which opened our eyes to some of these incredible parks that we didn’t know about before. Check these out the next time you and your girlfriends are in one of these cities! Some highlights from the Conde Nast Traveler List include:

Summer Palace, Beijing

Formerly home to rulers from the Qing Dynasty, Beijing's Summer Palace is the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China. You can spend an entire day exploring the various temples, gardens, and pavilions—in the warmer weather, a ferry runs across Kūnmíng Lake.

Stanley Park, Vancouver

Stanley Park is a nature-lover's paradise. Located right in downtown Vancouver, the park is home to gardens, beaches, and various historic monuments: Don't miss the famous Seawall, a path that encircles the park and offers gorgeous views of the English Bay and Coal Harbour.

Vondelpark, Amsterdam

Right near Amsterdam's famed Museum Quarter, Vondelpark offers free concerts at an open-air theater, sprawling green lawns, and numerous outdoor cafes. You can even rent rollerblades to navigate the park on Friday nights year-round (weather-permitting).

Stadtpark, Vienna

Opened in 1862 as Vienna's first public park, Stadtpark is famous for its golden Johann Strauss Monument, views of the Wien River, and ponds framed with willow trees.
